Detailed Itinerary: 7D/6N Flores Land Tour (West to East)
Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Denge – Wae Rebo (Approx. 100 km · 5 hours driving to Denge)
Your Flores adventure begins with a pick-up at your accommodation in Labuan Bajo. From there, we set off on a scenic drive toward Denge Village, the trailhead for one of Flores’ most extraordinary destinations—the legendary Wae Rebo Traditional Village.
Along the way, we’ll pause at several scenic spots to capture the beauty of the changing landscape. Upon arrival at Denge, we begin our 3-hour trek through dense, verdant jungle, covering approximately 9 kilometers. The trail winds steadily upward to an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, rewarding every step with cooler air and the promise of something truly special.
And then, emerging from the clouds like a vision from another era, Wae Rebo reveals itself—a cluster of iconic cone-shaped houses, known as Mbaru Niang, set against a sweeping valley backdrop. This is not just a village; it is a living cultural treasure, one of the last remaining places on Earth where ancestral architecture and way of life are preserved in their purest form.
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the community—their smiles and hospitality instantly making you feel at home. The village is surrounded by pristine natural beauty, offering a serene escape from the modern world.

Day 2. Wae Rebo – Denge – Ruteng (Approx. 70 km · 3.5 hours driving from Denge)
Wake up to the soft golden light filtering through the misty valleys of Wae Rebo—a morning in this enchanting village that will stay with you forever. After a simple breakfast shared with your host family, take time to wander through the village, interact with the local community, and learn about their way of life and unique culture. Whether observing daily rituals, hearing stories of ancestors, or simply sharing smiles, these moments of connection are what make Wae Rebo so unforgettable.
When the time comes to say goodbye, you’ll begin your descent along the same jungle trail, retracing your steps back to Denge Village. The walk down takes approximately 3 hours, but the journey feels lighter—the forest that once felt mysterious now feels familiar, each step carrying the satisfaction of having experienced something truly rare.
Upon reaching Denge, we continue our drive toward Ruteng, with a memorable stop at Cancar Village to witness one of Flores’ most spectacular sights—the Lodok, or spider-web rice fields. Continuing our journey, we pause at the serene Ranamese Lake, a natural crater lake surrounded by lush hills—a perfect spot for reflection and photography.
