Listen to their stories. This is your opportunity to learn about their way of life, their customs, their beliefs, and their unique culture that has survived for centuries untouched by the modern world. The people of Wae Rebo are known for their warmth and hospitality. A smile, a nod, or a simple “thank you” in Indonesian (terima kasih) will be met with genuine kindness. Please remember to ask permission before taking photographs of the villagers.

Day 3. Labuan Bajo - Kelor Island - Manjarite - Kalong Island (L/D)

After two unforgettable days immersed in the ancient culture of Wae Rebo Village, a new adventure awaits you this morning. Today, you will begin exploring one of the most extraordinary marine landscapes on earth, Komodo National Park.

Our friendly tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Labuan Bajo, welcoming you with warm smiles and assisting with your luggage. You will then be transferred comfortably to Labuan Bajo Harbor.

Upon arrival at the harbor, you will check in and board your boat, a comfortable vessel ready to take you to the wonders of Komodo. As we leave Labuan Bajo behind and the open sea stretches before us, your tour guide will provide a short briefing about the boat facilities, safety procedures, and the exciting itinerary ahead. Feel the sea breeze on your face. Look back at the shrinking harbor. This is where your sea adventure begins.

Our first destination is Kelor Island, a small island with a big personality. You will trek to the top of the island, a gentle climb of approximately 10–15 minutes. From the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of lush green hills meeting turquoise waters. It is the perfect opening scene for your Komodo adventure. Do not forget your camera. This view deserves to be remembered.

After descending from Kelor, we will continue our journey to Manjarite Bay (also known as Menjerite). This hidden gem is widely considered one of the best snorkeling spots in Labuan Bajo, and soon, you will understand why. You are invited to slip into the crystal-clear waters for off-shore snorkeling. Beneath the surface, you will discover a vibrant underwater world, diverse marine life, healthy corals, and schools of tropical fish in every color imaginable. Take your time. Float gently. Let the ocean amaze you.

As the afternoon begins to fade, we will sail toward Kalong Island, one of the most magical places in Komodo National Park. You are invited to rest on the deck of the boat, feeling the gentle rocking of the waves, while waiting for the spectacular moment that comes with the golden hour. And then, it happens. As the sun begins to set, painting the sky in shades of orange, pink, and purple, thousands of fruit bats will fly out from the mangrove forest, their nests, filling the sky in wave after wave. It is a breathtaking spectacle. You will watch this from the deck, perhaps with a warm cup of tea in hand. No photograph can truly capture it. You simply have to be there.

After the bats have flown and the stars begin to appear, we will look for a calm, safe place to dock and anchor for the night. You will sleep on the boat, rocked gently to sleep by the rhythm of the sea, dreaming of the dragons, pink sands, and manta rays that await you tomorrow. Rest well. Your Komodo adventure has only just begun.

Lunch and dinner will be served on the boat.

Day 4. Padar Island - Komodo Island - Pink Beach - Manta Point - Labuan Bajo (B/L)

A new day dawns on the waters of Komodo National Park. You wake gently to the soft rocking of the boat and the first light of morning painting the sky in shades of gold and rose. No alarm clock. No rush. Just the peaceful rhythm of the sea.

Today holds some of the most extraordinary moments of your entire journey, a sunrise you will never forget, an encounter with ancient dragons, a swim at one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, and a chance to glide alongside gentle giants of the sea. Let us begin.

Before sunrise, we will sail toward Padar Island. As we approach, our crew will serve a light breakfast or simply a warm cup of coffee or tea, enough to gently wake you up before the adventure ahead. We arrive at Padar Island just as the first hints of light appear on the horizon. From the dock, you will begin a short but rewarding trek to the summit. The path takes approximately 30 minutes uphill, steep in places, but manageable for most fitness levels. Your tour guide will walk with you, encouraging you every step of the way. And then, you reach the summit.

Before you lies the most iconic view in all of Komodo National Park. Three stunning bays curve into the turquoise sea below, one with white sand, one with black sand, and one with pink sand. The rising sun paints the water in golden light. The islands stretch to the horizon. The world feels vast, wild, and utterly beautiful. This is the moment you have seen in photographs. But standing here, feeling the wind on your face, watching the colors change by the minute, no camera can truly capture it. You simply have to be here. Take your time. Breathe it in. Take your photos. And when you are ready, we will make our way back down to the boat.

After descending from Padar, we will sail to one of the most famous beaches in the world, Pink Beach. What makes it pink? The sand gets its unique blush from crushed red coral mixed with white sand. It is subtle, beautiful, and unforgettable. What will you do here? You are invited to: Snorkel in crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful tropical fish,  swim in the warm, calm sea, relax on the soft pink sand, perhaps with a book or simply your own thoughts, take photographs that will make your friends back home truly envious. The underwater world here is equally spectacular, vibrant corals, schools of fish, and excellent visibility. Pink Beach is famous for a reason. You will soon understand why.

After Pink Beach, we sail to Komodo Island, one of the only places on earth where the legendary Komodo dragon roams free in its natural habitat. Upon arrival, a local ranger will greet you and a give a short briefing. He carries a wooden stick, not to hurt the dragons, but to keep a respectful distance. He knows these animals. He respects them. And he will keep you safe. Together, you will trek through the island’s dry forest. The path is gentle and suitable for most fitness levels. Your ranger will share stories about the dragons’ behavior, hunting strategies, and the ongoing conservation efforts to protect them. What will you see? As you walk, keep your eyes open. You may encounter: Komodo dragons basking in the morning sun or resting in the shade, wild deer grazing quietly among the trees, wild boar foraging in the undergrowth, various bird species that call this island home
A Gentle Reminder, please remember: this is their territory. We are honored guests. A respectful distance is always maintained for your safety and their well-being. This is the moment you came to Komodo for. And it will stay with you forever.

After returning from Komodo Island, lunch will be served on the boat, freshly cooked Indonesian dishes prepared by your crew. Eat on deck, with the sea breeze in your hair and the blue water stretching in every direction.

In the afternoon, we will sail to Manta Point, a cleaning station where graceful manta rays often gatherWe would like to be honest with you, as we always are: manta rays are wild creatures. They are not trained. They come and go as they please. Sightings depend on luck, weather conditions, currents, and the mood of the mantas themselves. But when they do appear… magic happens. Imagine a giant shadow gliding beneath you. Then another. And another. These gentle giants, some with wingspans wider than your arms can reach, swim right past you. They are curious. They are graceful. They are breathtaking. What if you don’t see them? If you are lucky, you will swim with manta rays, an experience you will treasure for a lifetime. If not, you will still enjoy one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in Komodo, clear water, healthy corals, and plenty of tropical fish to admire.

Lunch will be served on the boat.
After Manta Point Sail back toward Labuan Bajo to conclude your Komodo adventure. We arrive at Labuan Bajo Harbor in the late afternoon. Our driver and tour guide will take you to your hotel in Labuan Bajo. And just like that, your 4-days Wae rebo and Komodo adventure comes to an end. But the memories? They will last a lifetime.
