Wae Rebo Village Tour is a special tour package to explore the most impressive nature, culture, and people of West Flores called the Manggarai tribe. The Wae Rebo village tour takes a minimum of two days from Labuan Bajo town, West Flores.
Wae Rebo village got an award of excellence from the UNESCO Asia-Pacific for Culture Heritage Conservation, announced in Bangkok in 2012. Wae Rebo village is famous for its cultural site. It has seven traditional houses which still keep its original model. Besides, the natural surroundings of the village are spectacular. The village communities also have a strong culture and spiritual relationship with nature and ancestral spirits.
The village is located on a mountain with an altitude is 1.200M above sea level. It is an isolated village which is surrounded by mountain panoramic and dense jungle. Therefore, you need to be rather stronger and have better stamina to trek up to Wae Rebo traditional village.
The village of Wae Rebo is the only traditional village in West Flores that still keeps its original and left so far in the Manggarai tribe.
To visit Wae Rebo village, You will use a car from Labuan Bajo town. It takes around 5 hours to drive toward Denge Village. And then, the rest of the trip will only be able to be done by trekking to the village for about 2-3 hours through the jungle.
Upon your arrival at Wae Rebo village, you will see several impressive traditional houses belonging to the Manggarai tribe of West Flores. In the village, you will also have a warm welcome from the friendly local communities of Wae Rebo who live with a full of cultural nuance. You can interact with them while sharing your life journey with them.

WAE REBO VILLAGE TOUR PROGRAM (2-DAYS TOUR)
Day 1. Labuan Bajo - Dintor Village - Deng Village - Wae Rebo Village (L/D)
Pick up at your hotel or at the airport in Labuan Bajo. Transfer to the harbor to catch a local wooden boat trip. Boat to Kelor island. Short trekking at Kelor to enjoy the Rinca island. Heading to Menjerite for snorkeling. Continue boating to Kalong island to see thousands of fruit-bats flying out of mangrove forest while picturing of amazing sun set. Lunch/Dinner/Accommodation on the boat.
Day 2. Wae Rebo Village - Denge Village - Dintor Village - Labuan Bajo (B/L)
Breakfast on the boat. Morning trekking at Padar island to enjoy the spectacular panorama. Heading to Long Beach for snorkeling and relax. Visit Pink Beach for snorkeling and relax. In the afternoon will do trekking on Komodo island to witness Komodo dragon and other Wildlife. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 3. Manta Point - Taka Makasar - Siaba Island - Kanawa Island - Labuan Bajo (B/L)
Breakfast on the boat. Snorkeling at Manta Point and Taka Makasar (these islands are close to each other) to snorkel. Sometime, you will find Manta ray here (it depends on luck and weather condition). Heading to Siaba for off-shore snorkeling. If you are lucky, you will sometimes see the trutles this snoorkel spot. Heading to to Kanawa Island for snorkeling/swimming/relaxing. Get back to Labuan Bajo after doing tour activitiy at Kanawa. Pick up by car at Labuan Bajo’s harbor, then drop you off at your hotel.
