Day 11 – Komodo National Park: Manta Rays, Turtles, and a Final Farewell
Enjoy your final breakfast on board as the boat glides across the calm morning waters, carrying you toward one last day of underwater wonder in Komodo National Park.
Our first destination is Manta Point, a world-renowned snorkeling site where the majestic manta rays often glide through the crystal-clear waters. While these gentle giants are wild creatures and sightings are never guaranteed—depending largely on weather and season—the thrill of possibility is palpable as you slip beneath the surface. Nearby, Taka Makassar (Sandbar in the middle of the Komodo waters) offers equally stunning snorkeling opportunities, with vibrant coral gardens and an abundance of marine life that will leave you breathless.
We then continue to Siaba Island, a tranquil spot where the waters are often visited by graceful sea turtles. Snorkeling here feels like swimming in an aquarium—turtles gliding effortlessly, schools of colorful fish darting through coral, and the serene beauty of an untouched underwater world surrounding you.
Our final stop is Kanawa Island, a small paradise offering excellent off-shore snorkeling just steps from the shore. The waters here are calm and clear, perfect for one last immersion in the vibrant marine ecosystem that makes Komodo National Park so legendary.
As the afternoon begins to mellow, we set course back to Labuan Bajo, the vibrant coastal town that marks the end of your Flores Komodo journey. Upon arrival at the harbor, you’ll be transferred either to your chosen hotel for a well-deserved overnight stay, or directly to the airport to catch an afternoon flight to your next destination.
Note: If you plan to take a flight directly after the tour, we recommend booking the latest flight available, around 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM, to allow ample time for the transfer and check-in.
A delicious breakfast and lunch are served on board throughout the day, ensuring you’re well-fed as you soak in the final moments of this incredible adventure.
