FLORES LAND TOUR (7-DAYS) FROM MAUMERE/ENDE TO WEST FLORES

DAY 1. Maumere or Ende – Moni. (Maumere – Moni +/- 100KM) (Ende – Moni +/- 60KM)
Pick up at you accommodation or at the airport in Ende or Maumere east Flores. Drive to Moni village. Stop at several nice places before reaching out at Moni village. Check-in at your chosen accommodation in Moni.
DAY 2. Moni – Ende - Riung (+/- 180KM. around 7-hrs driving)
Very early morning wake up to start your tour to Kelimutu volcanic three lake. Drive to Kelimutu Volcano for an hours. Walking for about 45 minutes from Car parking area to Kelimutu summit. Kelimutu means Mountain of the spirits. Known for its famous 3 color lakes: Turquoise, Brown and Black.
It’s the dissolved minerals that give the different colors. From the top of Kelimutu, you will also enjoy the spectacular panorama surroundings.
After spending your time to enjoy this natural wonder, will walk back to car parking area. Driving back to your hotel for taking breakfast. Visit Wologai traditional village. Heading to Ende and stops at several spots to take picture.
Continue driving to Riung ‘Flores’ northern coast’. Stop at Panggajawa Beach ‘a Blue Stone Beach’ for swimming and relaxing. Driving to Riung and check in at your chosen accommodation.
DAY 3. Full day Excursion in Riung (Explore 17 Island Sea Park by Boat)
After being breakfast, then drop to the pier to catch a local motorized boat. Boating to several islands such as Kalong Island to witness thousands of fruit bats flying out of mangrove trees. Boat to Bako/Tembang snorkeling spot. Then, continue to Tiga island and Rutong for snorkeling. Boat back to the pier to return to your accommodation in Riung.
DAY 4. Riung – Bajawa (+/- 70KM. around 3,5-hrs driving)
After taking breakfast, then drive to Bajawa. En route will stop at several viewpoints and visit ‘a Natural Hot Spring called So’a for taking a bath and relaxing. Heading to an impressive traditional village called ‘Bena Village’. Drive to Bajawa for checking in at your chosen accommodation.
DAY 5. Bajawa – Ruteng (+/- 135KM. around 5-hrs driving)
Breakfast at your accommodation. Drive to Aimere village where you will find the local people produce traditionally a local alcoholic drink made out of Palm Juice. Heading to Ruteng. En route will stop at natural crater lake of Rana Mese. Check-in at your chosen accommodation in Ruteng.
DAY 6. Ruteng – Denge village - Wae Rebo (+/-70KM. around 3,5-hrs driving from Ruteng to Denge)
After breakfast at your accommodation. Depart to Cancar village to visit the spectacular view of rice-field that looks like “Giant spider’s web”. It is called Lodok ‘a spider;s web rice field’. Heading to Denge village ‘a starting point of trekking to Wae Rebo’.
Wae Rebo village is located up on the mountain. It is baout 1.200-M above sea level. It is surrounded by the mountain and forest. It is about 9-KM distance from Denge. It takes around 3-hours trek through dense primary forest. Overnight at Wae Rebo village in one of the traditional house.
DAY 7. Wae Rebo – Labuan Bajo (+/-90KM. around 5hrs driving from Denge to Labuan Bajo)
Breakfast at Wae Rebo village. See and enjoy the Wae Rebo village, by interacting with the local community to learn about their way of life and their unique culture. Trekking down back to Denge village to catch a car. Drive to Labuan Bajo via Lembor Village. Stop at several viewpoints before reaching out to Labuan Bajo. In the afternoon will arrive in Labuan Bajo and check in at your chosen hotel for the night.
