FLORES LAND TOUR BY CAR (7D/6N TOUR PROGRAM)

DAY 1. Labuan Bajo – Wae Rebo (+/- 100 KM. around 5hrs driving to Denge)
On the first day of the Flores land tour program, We will pick you up at your accommodation in Labuan Bajo. Continue driving to the Lembor area to stop for a while for taking pictures and see the largest paddy-field area. Heading to the south coast to Dintor village via Nagalili. Stop at view point for taking picture of Mules Island. Continue to Denge Village. Start trekking up to Wae Rebo Village through the dense forest for about 9KM. it is about 3-hrs trekking up to reach out the village.
Wae Rebo Village is located in the mountain area with an altitude is 1,200M above sea level. So, you should be rather strong to trek up the village. Upon your arrival at Wae Rebo village, you will see some impressive traditional houses belonging to the Manggarai tribe in west Flores, and you will feel pure and warmest welcomed by friendly local communities of Wae Rebo who live with a full of cultural nuance and the village is surrounded by a pure natural atmosphere. Overnight at Guest House (in of the traditional houses) in Wae Rebo village.
DAY 2. Wae Rebo Village – Denge Village - Ruteng (+/- 70 KM. around 3,5hrs driving from Denge)
Breakfast at Wae Rebo village. See and enjoy the Wae Rebo tradtionlal village, by interacting with the local community to learn about their way of life and their unique culture before leaving the village. Trek down back to Denge village about 3-hours. And then, drive to Ruteng. En route will stop at a Cancar Village to see the incredible Rice Fields that seem like huge spider’s web, and this is one of the most unique west Flores attractions. It is caled Lodok in Cara village. Heading to Ruteng and check-in at your chosen hotel in Ruteng town.
DAY 3. Ruteng – Bajawa (+/- 135KM. around 5hrs driving)
Pick up at your hotel based in Ruteng. Drive to Aimere Village, and en route will also have a quick stop at Ranamese Lake to take a picture of natural crater lake which is located close to the main road in the middle of a dense forest. Heading to Aimere Village where you can see how the local people produce alcoholic drink locally (it is called Moke/Arak Flores) which is produced out of palm juice. Heading to Bajawa for check-in at your chosen hotel.
DAY 4. Bajawa – Riung (+/- 70KM. around 3hrs driving)
Pick up at your hotel. Driving to some impressive traditional villages which is called Luba and Bena Village. Walk around the village to make pictures and interact with friendly local inhabitants. Driving back to Bajawa town for taking lunch. Continue the trip to Riung. On the way will stop at So’a natural hot springs for taking a bath and relaxing. Heading to Riung and Check-in at your chosen accommodation in Riung.
DAY 5. Full day Excursion in Riung (Explore 17 Island Sea Park by Boat)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the harbor to catch a local wooden boat trip. Boat to several islands such as Kalong island to witness thousands of fruit bats flying out of mangrove trees. Boat to Bako/Tembang snorkeling spot and Tiga island and Rutong for snorkeling. Boat back to the harbor. Transfer back to your accommodation in Riung.
DAY 6. Riung – Moni (+/- 185KM. around 7hrs driving)
After taking breakfast. Then long driving to Mbai. Continue driving to eastward of Flores by stopping at Blue Stone Beach in southern Flores to relax or swim. Driving to Moni village via Ende town. En route will stop at a few nice places such as the traditional village of the Lio tribe called Wologai Village. Stop at the street local market of Ndua Ria. Check-In at your chosen accommodation in Moni village for overnight.
DAY 7. Moni – Maumere (+/- 100KM. around 3hrs driving) or Moni – Ende ( +/-50KM)
On the last day of this Flores land tour will pick you up quite earlier and start the trip at around 04.00 AM to see the most natural highlight of Flores’ island. Driving to Mt. Kelimutu for about 1hrs. Take an easy walk up to the Kelimutu volcano summit through the path stairs. The walking up will be around 30 minutes till the summit. From the summit of Mt. Kelimutu, you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and see three amazing different color lakes called ‘Kelimutu Lake’. After spending your time at Kelimutu, will walk down back to the Car Parking lot. Driving back to your accommodation at Moni, for breakfast. Continue your trip to the eastward of Flores Island that is Maumere or driving to Ende with few stops on the way before reaching Maumere or Ende. Drop at your chosen hotel or at the airport for your next destination. End of your trip on Flores Island.
