First Plan

STARTING FROM MAUMERE TOWN - MONI VILLAGE - KELIMUTU LAKE - BACK TO MAUMERE

Pick up at your hotel in Maumere. Early morning driving to Kelimutu Lake via Moni village. It is about 3 hours driving from Maumere to Kelimutu volcano.

Upon your arrival at the car parking area at Kelimutu. You will start walking about 30 minutes to the Kelimutu Volcano summit. Walking is easy through the cement path. From the summit, you will see three different colors of the volcanic crater lake and also a spectacular view around the area.

Walking back to the car parking area. And then, driving back to Maumere. On the way will stop at several places, such as Wolowaru village to see a traditional house belonging to the Lio tribe.

Visit Koka Beach for swimming and relaxing on the white sand beach. Heading to Sikka village to see the nice construction of the old church. It was built in the Portuguese era. Afterward, drive back to Maumere town. And drop you off at your hotel.

Note: We will drop you off at Ende Town if you plan to go there for the next destination.

Second Plan

STARTING FROM ENDE TOWN - MONI VILLAGE - KELIMUTU LAKE - BACK TO ENDE

Pick up at your hotel in Ende town. Early morning drive to Kelimutu volcano lake about 2.5 hours via Moni village. Upon your arrival at the Parking area of Kelimutu. You will start walking about 30 minutes to the Kelimutu summit. Walking is easy through the cement path. From the summit, you will see three different colors of the volcanic crater lake and also a spectacular view around the area of Kelimutu.

Walking back to the car parking area. And then, driving back to Ende. On the way will stop at several places such as visiting the Wologai traditional village, which belongs to the Lio tribe. Driving back to Ende town. Then drop you off at your hotel in Ende.
