SNORKELING TOUR NEAR MAUMERE (1-DAY TRIP)

If you have one free day in Maumere town, you might want to spend your time to do snorkeling at several snorkel spots around Maumere Bay.

The tour will be starting from your hotel. Pick up service by AC car, then drop you off at Nangahale village where you will start the trip. It takes about 45 minutes to reach this village by car from Maumere.

From Nangahale village, you will get on to the local wooden motorized boat to explore three popular snorkel-spots. They are Kojadoi Island, Panga Batang Island and Babi Island.

These islands can be reached by boat in 30 minutes from one island to another.

The first snorkel spot to be discovered in this expedition is Kojadoi Island. Nice coral reefs can be found on this snorkel site.

After snorkeling at Kojadoi Island, the next travel plan is to visit Pangabatang Island. There is also a small fishing village on this island. During snorkeling on this island, you can find a fabulous coral reef and a lot of colorful fish in crystal-clear water. Besides, you can also relax on the beautiful white sand beach.

Continue riding our boat to the last stunning snorkel spot. It is called Babi Island (Pig Island). Nice coral reefs and coloful fish can be found here. There is also an amazing white sand beach to take relaxing during you are exploring this island.

After doing your trip activity in Babi Island, we will get back on to the boat to ride the boat back to Nangahale village. And then, drive back to Maumere to drop you off at your hotel.
