The Komodo National Park is not only famous for home of the Komodo dragon as the giant living lizard on earth, but is also known as the best snorkel and spectacular landscape of the globe. The islands will be visited during this Komodo trekking trip are Kelor, Kalong Island, Rinca Island, Padar Island, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, Manta Point, Gili Lawa Darat Island, Taka Makasar, Siaba Island, Sebaur Island, etc. 

On this trip, you will also be amazed by the spectacular natural panorama provided by each of the islands, as well as you will feel the comfort of the purely natural atmosphere surroundings. Generally, this Komodo trekking tour program will start and end at the hotel or airport in Labuan Bajo, Flores. It is also possible to begin and finish it at the airport without staying the night at hotel in Labuan Bajo. 

The better recommendation is to take a morning flight to Labuan Bajo, Komodo Airport on the first day and take an afternoon flight on the last day. It aims to cover the whole spots mentioned on the tour itinerary. Below is the complete description of the Komodo Trekking Tour program

 

KOMODO TREKKING TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Labuan Bajo - Kelor Island - Manjerite Bay - Kalong Island (L/D)

On the first day of your Komodo Trekking Tour is started to pick up service at the hotel or at the airport in Labuan Bajo, Flores Island. Drop off at the harbor to get on a boat trip leaving for Kelor Island. Short trekking activity to the top of Kelor Island to enjoy the spectacular panorama. After trekking activity in Kelor, then, heading to Menjerite to do off-shore snorkeling. After snorkeling at Menjerite Bay will continue boating to Kalong Island to witness the most amazing attraction, where you will see thousands of Fruit bats flying out of the mangrove forest while enjoying the spectacular sunset. Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight on the boat.

Day 2. Kalong Island - Rinca Island - Kambing Island - Padar Island (B/L/D)

Breakfast on the boat. Then, boating to Rinca island to do trekking to try finding Komodo dragons and other wildlife. After trekking at Rinca Island will get back to the boat to visit Kambing Island for swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy and relax on the boat. (If time permits, we add one spot for snorkeling before heading to Padar). Taking lunch on the boat. Then, continue trip to visit Padar Island. Trekking to the top of Padar Island to enjoy the most spectacular panoramic view around Komodo National Park. After trekking will get back to the boat. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight on the boat

Day 3. Komodo Island - Pink Beach - Manta Point - Taka Makasar - Gili Lawa Darat (B/L/D)

Breakfast on the boat. Depart to Komodo Island. Trekking activity at Komodo Island to try finding Komodo dragons and other wildlife living on that island. After trekking on Komodo will visit Pink Beach to snorkel and relax at the beautiful beach. Heading to Manta Point for snorkeling. (If you are lucky, you will find huge Manta Rays during snorkeling here). Visit Taka Makasar “a tiny island” to do another snorkeling activity and enjoy the time at beautiful white sandy beach. In the afternoon, will be heading to Gili Lawa Darat for trekking to hunt the amazing sunset and to enjoy the marvelous panorama within Komodo National Park. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight on the boat.

Day 4. Gili Lawa Darat - Siaba Island - Sebayur Island - Labuan Bajo (B/L)

This is the last day of your Komodo Trekking Tour. Having breakfast on the boat. Depart to Siaba Island “another stunning snorkel site within Komodo National Park”. If you are lucky, you can find turtles on this island. After snorkeling here, the next spot is called Sebayur Island. You will do another snorkeling at Sebayur Island. After visiting Sebayur, we will get back to Labuan Bajo’s harbor. Then, drop you off at your chosen hotel or drop off straightly to Labuan Bajo’s airport to fly to the next destination. Breakfast and Lunch are on the boat. Komodo Trekking Tour is ended.

Note: Please take an afternoon flight at least around 4 PM, if you want to fly soon after this trip.
