1. Day Trips From Labuan Bajo
This kind of trip is suitable for those of you who have limited time or don’t like spending the night on the boat. We have two options for this tour package, namely private and sharing trip. The tour usually starts from Labuan Bajo as the gathering point as well as the main gateway to Komodo National Park.
if you want to take a day trip, you are required to arrive in Labuan Bajo a day before the tour starts. this is because the tour will start very early in the morning (around 07.00 AM local time). we start picking you up around 06-06.40 AM. Especially if you choose a sharing trip that takes a long time for us to pick up all tour participants.
There are some related questions, why does the tour start so early in the morning? There are some basic reasons. First, to cover all 6 destinations that will be visited. Second, it is related to the regulations of the Komodo National Park authority regarding the first spot that you will visit, namely Padar Island, where trekking on this island will only be open until 10.00 AM. Meanwhile, the travel time from the starting point to this island takes about an hour.
Then, the next question is usually, why is it only open until 10.00 AM? of course for your safety and comfort as travelers. because trekking trails in Padar Island is on the open savannah which means there is no shade along the trekking path as a place for you to take shelter for a moment. and why should Padar Island be the first spot? the reason we make tour packages has considered the distance between the spots visited and for time efficiency.
Visited spots on day trips:
In this one day tour, you will have the opportunity to visit and explore 6 highlight spots around Komodo National park, such as:
- Padar Island; Trekking tom the top of the island. Enjoying and capturing your moment on the dramatical view
- Pink Beach; Snorkeling or relaxing on the exotic pink sandy beach.
- Komodo Island; Explore the Island. Trekking to find Komodo dragon and other wildlife.
- Taka Makassar: Snorkeling/relaxing on the exotic sandy banksin the middle of the Komodo waters.
- Manta Point: Off-shore snorkeling; trying to to find the charming Manta Rays
- Siaba Island (Turtle Point): Off-shore snorkeling
2. Overnight or Multi-days Trips
For those of you who want to explore more deeply the beauty of Komodo National Park, a multi-day liveaboard is the perfect choice. This type of tour usually requires 2 to 5 days exploring around the Komodo Islands. All according to your needs and choices.
The muti-days trip that we offer also has two different options especially for those of you who choose the 3-day package, namely private and sharing trip. for the two-day, four-day and 5-day options, we usually sell with private packages only. Please note that 3-days sharing trips that we sell depart every Friday.
